The Artisan Mentoring program has really helped build my confidence in
pursuing my journey in becoming a Piano Technician. I could not recommend more!

Artisan Piano meetings go beyond the standard classroom material making the same concepts more palatable, entertaining, and they come from real world technicians.

The Artisan Mentoring program is much more; the social media resources and responsiveness of the instructors means there is always someone to answer your technical questions.

FAQS

Most students can learn the basics and are able to tune a piano within 3 months.  They then spend the rest of their lives honing in their skills and mastering the craft.

No!  Very few people in the world have perfect pitch and even fewer piano tuners have it.  Piano tuning is a learned skill and nearly everyone can do it with the right training and practice.

While you don't need to own your own piano, you do need to have access to piano/s.  This is a learned skill and you practice learning this skill on a piano.  Many of our students get access to pianos from friends, family, schools, and churches.  The more pianos you can work on the fast you will learn and your skills will increase.

Established piano tuners can make well over $100,000.  The national average piano tuning cost has risen to $150-$200.  This is due to the increase of demand and lack of technicians able to meet that demand.
